01Why a plunge pool
A pool for a North Shore-sized yard.
Most backyards around here don't have room for a full-size pool, and most people don't swim laps anyway. A plunge pool gives you somewhere to cool off on a July afternoon without giving up the whole yard.
- Fits smaller yards
- A plunge pool takes a fraction of the space a full-size pool does, so it fits yards a big pool never could.
- Room left over
- Keep space for the patio, the grill and the lawn instead of giving the whole yard to the pool.
- Less to heat and treat
- Less water means less to heat, filter and keep clean.
- Cool off, soak, unwind
- Built for sitting and cooling off after work, not swimming laps.
| Compare | Plunge pool | Full-size pool |
|---|---|---|
| Yard space | A small footprint | Often most of the backyard |
| Excavation | Less digging and less fill to haul | A large, deep dig |
| Water to heat & treat | A lot less | A lot more |
| Room for a patio | Usually plenty | Often squeezed |
| Best for | Cooling off, soaking, relaxing | Swimming laps, big groups |

03The backyard around it
The pool is one piece. We build the rest.
A pool dropped into a lawn looks unfinished. Pool decks, walls, fencing and plantings are what we build every season, so the backyard around your plunge pool gets the same care as the pool itself.

Excavation & site prep
Digging, grading and hauling, with our own equipment and crew.

Paver decks & coping
Belgard and Unilock pavers and bullnose coping, laid on a compacted base.

Walls & equipment pads
Retaining walls to level the yard, and a tidy spot for the pump and filter.

Plantings & privacy
Evergreens, beds and boulders so the pool feels tucked in, not dropped in.

Pool fencing
Fencing and gates built to meet your town's pool barrier rules.

Patio & outdoor kitchen
The lounge chairs and grill need somewhere to go. We build that too.

What is a plunge pool?
A small pool made for cooling off and soaking rather than swimming laps. It takes up a fraction of the yard a full-size pool needs, which leaves room for a patio, a grill and some lawn.
What sizes are available?
We install Titanium Pools. Shells come in 16' x 8', 20' x 8', 20' x 10', 25' x 10' and 30' x 10', plus a 23' x 13' package with a bench and stairs. A 7' x 7' spillover spa can be added. You can try each size in the online designer.
How much does a plunge pool cost?
It depends on the size and options you pick in the designer (features, tile, equipment and insulation), plus the site work, deck, fencing and landscaping around it. We'll give you a free on-site estimate with a written price for the whole project.
Can a plunge pool be heated?
The designer lets you pick an equipment bundle. We'll go over heating with you when we look at your design.
Do I need a fence?
Pools need a safety barrier that meets your town's rules. We build pool fencing and self-closing gates as part of the project. Fences →
Do I need a permit?
Pools generally need a building permit, and some towns have extra rules near wetlands or property lines. We'll walk you through what your town requires.
Can you redo the deck around the pool I already have?
Yes. We tear out old brick or concrete and rebuild the deck and coping in pavers.
Often built with a pool.
